HOW IS SUCRALOSE HANDLED BY THE BODY?
Although sucralose is derived from sucrose it is not perceived by the body as a carbohydrate. Sucralose is not broken down during its passage through the body, it is not dechlorinated or hydrolysed, but rather excreted.
